PDF sewing patterns are a digital file containing all the information you need to sew items such as clothing, accessories and toys. It will usually include printable pattern pieces that you can print on your home printer on A4 or letter paper. PDF sewing patterns are the latest and most convenient forms of patterns with great designs and easy-to-follow color diagrams. No more guessing instructions or making mistakes.

What Do PDF Patterns Include?

All Treasurie patterns vary slightly but common inclusions are -

• FILE TYPE - A digital sewing pattern is a PDF file which includes easy to follow, step by step instructions and photographs. 
• PROGRAM NEEDED - The file and instructions are viewed on your computer screen. Your PDF can be read with the free program Adobe Reader. While you can open a PDF in other reader types, Adobe Reader is considered the best for printing the pattern pieces to scale.
• PATTERN PIECES -It will also include a full-sized pattern for all pieces which will print on your regular home computer on either letter or A4 paper. Your pattern will print in a grid and you simply trim and sticky tape the edges together.
• MEASUREMENTS - All the measurements and instructions in my patterns are in both metric (cm) and imperial (inches) so you don't need to worry about conversions no matter where you live. 
• REPRINTING - Digital patterns are great because you can reprint your pattern at any time to make different sizes as you require. This is especially valuable for kids patterns - just print a new size as they grow!

At the end of your purchase checkout, you will be given a link to download the PDF file immediately. You will also be emailed a link in case you want to download it later. It is best to download on a desktop or laptop computer and not a mobile device. Most mobiles and iPads are not set up to download and print.

If you ever lose your pattern or download link just email me with your order date and receipt if possible and I will be happy to resend it. 

To print the patterns with a regular printer use A4 or US Letter paper at 100% scale, with the printer's "actual size" setting enabled and all resize or adjustment options disabled. *The A4 patterns are sized to fit correctly A4 and US LETTER paper.

If you're printing an A0-sized pattern, take it to a copy shop that offers large-format printing.

Yes, you can sell items you make using our digital sewing patterns. However, please note that our patterns are for personal use only, and you cannot distribute, share, or sell the pattern itself.

Yes, all our patterns include seam allowance. Most of the patterns have 1cm seam allowance. You can find the seam allowance details on the product description.

Yes! A4 files are included inside your downloads. You'll especially want to use the A4 version because they come with metric measurements (centimeters, meters, etc.).

At this time we do not offer sewing lessons.

As many of you know, we provide video tutorials to complement our patterns. However, we've had an increasing demand for written instructions, and we're listening to your requests! We are going through and adding written directions for each pattern that's been published, but this means some past patterns do not have them.

Besides a sewing machine and materials, you will need a home printer and letter or A4 paper to print your pattern pages. If you are using the A0 copy shop file, you will need to have that file printed locally or order it from an online source. If you are piecing your pattern pages together, you will need tape or a glue stick.

No you don't, you can order as a guest.

We don't do custom orders. However if you love a garment you've seen somewhere, you are most welcome to suggest a new style and your photo will be enrolled in the weekly contest. If it wins, our designers will use it as inspiration for the next pattern to be issued.

You need any PDF reader to open and print your .pdf pattern - the free Adobe reader would do. If it doesn't help, please contact us and we'll resend the file free of charge.
